Dope sick describes the state of withdrawal from opioids or other addictive drugs—the nausea, sweating, aches, and desperate craving that follow when an addict can't get their next fix.
The term originated in drug culture and has spread with awareness of the opioid epidemic: He was dope sick and couldn't get out of bed.
