dogfoods
Canine nutrition products
Dogfoods is food formulated for dogs, or the third-person singular verb meaning to use one's own product internally before releasing it to customers.
The verb comes from tech industry slang: Microsoft dogfoods its own software.
The idea is that if you wouldn't feed your own dog food to your dog, you shouldn't sell it to others.
