dining in
Not going out
Dining in means eating a meal at home rather than at a restaurant: We're dining in tonight—I don't feel like going out.
The phrase contrasts with dining out.
It can also refer to ordering takeout or delivery to eat at home, as opposed to eating on the premises: The restaurant offers both dine-in and takeout options.
