diamond panes
Angled glass segments
Diamond panes are window glass pieces cut in diamond or rhombus shapes, set diagonally within a lattice framework.
Common in Tudor and medieval-revival architecture, they give windows a distinctive geometric pattern: The cottage windows had leaded diamond panes.
The leading between panes forms a crosshatch of diagonal lines.
