deseeded

Cores taken out

Deseeded describes fruits or vegetables that have had their seeds removed: deseeded tomatoes, deseeded chiles.

The word is more common in British English; Americans typically say seeded, which—confusingly—means the same thing.

To deseed is to remove the seeds: Deseed the peppers before chopping.
