demon horns
Satanic head adornments
Demon horns are a hand gesture made by extending the index and pinky fingers while curling the middle and ring fingers down, thumb either tucked or extended.
In heavy metal and rock culture, it signals enthusiasm or solidarity: The crowd threw up demon horns during the guitar solo.
The gesture has older meanings in Mediterranean cultures, where it can ward off evil or accuse someone of being cuckolded.
Also called devil horns, metal horns, or the sign of the horns.
