decryptor
Unlocks hidden messages
A decryptor is software or a device that reverses encryption, converting scrambled data back into readable form.
The term appears most often in cybersecurity contexts—ransomware victims may receive a decryptor after paying attackers, or security researchers may release one publicly: The FBI released a free decryptor for the malware.
Also spelled decrypter.
