deathtrap

Fatally dangerous place

A deathtrap is a place or structure so dangerous it could kill you—a building with blocked fire exits, a car with failed brakes, a mine with no ventilation.

The word implies negligence or disregard for safety: That old elevator is a deathtrap.

Often used hyperbolically for anything perceived as hazardous: I'm not getting on that deathtrap of a roller coaster.
