Dadding is the activity of being a father—the ongoing work of raising children, typically with connotations of hands-on involvement: I spent Saturday dadding at the soccer field.
The term is informal and often used lightheartedly to describe the mundane tasks and experiences of fatherhood: Just over here dadding—changed three diapers before noon.
