cutting in line
Skipping your turn
Cutting in line is moving ahead of others who are already waiting, violating the implicit first-come-first-served rule of queues.
The act is considered rude and may provoke confrontation: Some guy tried cutting in line and everyone started yelling at him.
Also called cutting in front or simply cutting: No cutting!
