cultivable
Ready for planting
Cultivable describes land that can be farmed or crops that can be grown: Only a small percentage of the mountainous region is cultivable.
The word applies to soil suitable for cultivation—not too rocky, not too arid, with adequate drainage.
Cultivable and cultivatable are interchangeable, though cultivable is more common in formal writing.
