A cube farm is an office space filled with cubicles—the partitioned workstations that became ubiquitous in corporate America.
The term is mildly disparaging, evoking rows of identical, impersonal work areas that resemble livestock pens or agricultural plots: I spent ten years in a cube farm before going freelance.
