crumb crust
Graham pie shell
A crumb crust is a pie or cheesecake crust made from crushed cookies or crackers bound with butter, pressed into a pan rather than rolled like pastry dough.
Graham cracker crusts are most common, but Oreos, gingersnaps, and other cookies work too: The cheesecake has a chocolate crumb crust.
Unlike flaky pastry crusts, crumb crusts are dense and slightly crumbly.
