Crosswalks is the plural of crosswalk, a marked section of road where pedestrians have the right of way to cross: Use the crosswalk at the intersection.
Crosswalks are typically painted with white stripes, sometimes called zebra crossings in British English.
The city added crosswalks near the school after parents complained.
