crinkle-cut
Zigzag potato style
Crinkle-cut describes food sliced with a wavy-edged blade, producing ridged surfaces rather than smooth ones: crinkle-cut fries, crinkle-cut carrots.
The ridges increase surface area for crispiness and help sauces cling.
The term applies almost exclusively to vegetables, especially potatoes.
