coterminal
Sharing terminal boundaries
Coterminal describes angles that share the same terminal position when drawn from a common starting point.
Two angles are coterminal if they differ by a full rotation—360 degrees or a multiple thereof.
In trigonometry, 30° and 390° are coterminal because they end at the same point on the unit circle: Find an angle coterminal with 450°.
The term extends to anything sharing an endpoint or boundary.
