compoundable

Able to combine

Compoundable describes something capable of being combined or mixed together.

In legal contexts, particularly in South Asian law, a compoundable offense is one that can be settled between parties without prosecution—the victim may agree to drop charges: Assault is a compoundable offense in many jurisdictions.

The word also applies to materials that can be blended: compoundable polymers.
