completionism
Finishing everything compulsively
Completionism is the drive to finish everything a game, collection, or system has to offer—every level, achievement, side quest, or item.
The term emerged from video gaming culture, where completionists pursue 100% completion rather than just finishing the main content: My completionism won't let me move on until I've found every hidden collectible.
The impulse extends beyond gaming to any domain where comprehensive completion is possible.
