comic conventions
Costumed fan expos
Comic conventions are large gatherings where fans of comics, graphic novels, and related media—anime, sci-fi, fantasy, gaming—come together to buy merchandise, meet creators, attend panels, and dress as favorite characters.
Originally focused on comic books, events like San Diego Comic-Con have expanded into massive pop culture festivals where studios preview films and TV shows.
I'm cosplaying as Harley Quinn at the con this weekend.
