college fair
School recruitment event
A college fair is an event where representatives from multiple colleges and universities gather in one location—typically a high school gymnasium or convention center—to meet with prospective students.
Attendees can collect brochures, ask questions about programs and admissions, and make initial contact with schools they're considering: I picked up information from twelve schools at the college fair.
