cheekies
Partial coverage bottoms
Cheekies are a style of women's underwear that exposes the lower part of the buttocks—more coverage than a thong but less than full-coverage briefs.
The cut sits higher on the cheeks, creating a flattering shape: I bought a pack of cheekies from the sale rack.
The term is primarily retail and marketing vocabulary.
