ceiling vents
Air outlets above
Ceiling vents are openings in a ceiling that allow air to flow in or out of a room, typically as part of a heating, ventilation, or air conditioning system.
They're usually covered with slatted grilles that direct airflow and can sometimes be adjusted: The ceiling vents were blowing cold air directly onto my desk.
