Baby's travel bed
A carrycot is a lightweight, portable bed for a baby, typically with handles for carrying.
It's essentially a detachable bassinet that can be lifted from a pram frame or used independently: She carried the sleeping infant inside in the carrycot.
The term is primarily British; Americans more often say bassinet or portable crib.
