calendar method
Cycle-based contraception
The calendar method is a form of birth control that tracks menstrual cycles to predict fertile days and avoid unprotected sex during that window.
Also called the rhythm method.
Its effectiveness depends on cycle regularity and careful tracking: They relied on the calendar method but got pregnant anyway.
