Wide arrow tips
Broadheads are arrowheads with wide, sharp blades designed to cause maximum damage to game animals.
Unlike target points, which merely pierce, broadheads cut a broad wound channel for quick kills.
Hunters choose between fixed-blade and mechanical (expandable) designs: I switched to mechanical broadheads for better flight.
The term appears almost exclusively in bowhunting contexts.
