boxplots
Whiskers show spread
A boxplot is a statistical graph showing data distribution through five summary values: minimum, first quartile, median, third quartile, and maximum.
The "box" spans the middle 50% of values, with a line at the median; "whiskers" extend to the extremes.
Outliers appear as separate points.
Also called box-and-whisker plots.
The boxplots revealed that Group A had much wider variation than Group B.
