bottle return
Can exchange station
Bottle return refers to a system where consumers bring empty beverage containers back to a store or collection point in exchange for a small refund—typically five or ten cents per bottle or can.
The deposit is paid at purchase and recovered upon return, incentivizing recycling: I've got a bag of empties to take to the bottle return.
Also used as an adjective: bottle return machines, bottle return center.
