blue fox
Polar fur-bearer
A blue fox is an arctic fox during its winter phase when its coat turns a bluish-gray rather than pure white.
The term also refers to the fur itself, prized in the garment trade: a blue fox stole.
Some foxes are selectively bred for this coloration.
