black comedies
Morbid funny films
Black comedies are films, plays, or other works that find humor in dark or disturbing subject matter—death, violence, suffering, or taboo topics.
The comedy doesn't soften the darkness; it coexists with it, often uncomfortably: Dr. Strangelove is the quintessential black comedy.
