bipolar II
Hypomania and depression
Bipolar II is a mood disorder characterized by episodes of depression alternating with hypomania—a milder form of mania that doesn't reach the severity or psychotic features of full manic episodes.
The depressive episodes typically cause more impairment than the elevated ones.
