Bicycle camping adventure
To bikepack is to travel by bicycle while carrying camping gear, typically on multi-day trips through remote terrain.
Unlike traditional bicycle touring with panniers on racks, bikepacking uses smaller bags strapped directly to the frame, handlebars, and seat post—a setup suited to rougher trails and gravel roads.
We bikepacked through the Scottish Highlands last summer.
