beam me up
Teleport me away
Beam me up is a catchphrase from Star Trek, where characters are teleported ("beamed") aboard their spacecraft.
In general use, it's a joking request to be rescued from an awkward, boring, or absurd situation: This meeting is endless—beam me up.
The fuller form beam me up, Scotty addresses the ship's engineer, though this exact line was rarely spoken in the original series.
