back-heel
Rearward foot flick
A back-heel is a soccer move where a player kicks the ball backward using their heel, typically to pass to a teammate behind them.
The technique is flashy and slightly risky—it sacrifices vision for surprise: He back-heeled it to his striker, who scored.
Also used as a verb: She back-heeled the ball into the net.
