averse

Not at all eager

Averse means having a strong disinclination or opposition to something: I'm not averse to a glass of wine with dinner, She was averse to taking risks.

The word almost always follows a form of "be" and pairs with "to." Averse describes reluctance rather than active hostility—you avoid what you're averse to rather than fighting it.
