authorized personnel
Cleared staff only
Authorized personnel are people who have official permission to access a restricted area, information, or system.
The phrase appears almost exclusively on signs and notices warning others away: Authorized personnel only, No entry except for authorized personnel.
It implies that credentials or clearance have been granted, distinguishing insiders from the general public.
