anti-seize
Prevents bolt seizure
Anti-seize is a lubricating compound applied to threaded fasteners, fittings, and other metal parts to prevent them from fusing together due to corrosion, heat, or pressure.
Without it, bolts and nuts can become permanently stuck—seized—making future disassembly difficult or impossible: Always put anti-seize on your spark plug threads.
Also called anti-seize compound or anti-seize grease.
