after-work drinks
Post-shift socializing bevvies
After-work drinks are alcoholic beverages shared with colleagues at the end of the workday, typically at a bar or restaurant near the office.
The phrase names both the activity and the social occasion: A few of us are going for after-work drinks if you want to join.
The ritual serves as informal bonding time, a bridge between professional and personal life.
