Zen masters
Awakened meditation guides
Zen masters are teachers in the Zen Buddhist tradition who have attained deep understanding through meditation and can guide students toward enlightenment.
The term often appears figuratively for anyone who embodies calm, focused mastery: He approached crisis management like a Zen master.
The phrase can be gently ironic when applied to someone conspicuously serene amid chaos.
