Yankees fans
Bronx Bombers supporters
Yankees fans are supporters of the New York Yankees, Major League Baseball's most storied and polarizing franchise.
The team's 27 World Series titles breed a fan base known for expecting championships and little patience for losing seasons.
Outside New York, Yankees fans are often viewed as arrogant or bandwagon-jumpers: Of course he's a Yankees fan—he's never suffered a day in his life.
The Yankees-Red Sox rivalry makes Yankees fans particularly reviled in Boston.
