Trix Rabbit

The Trix Rabbit is the cartoon mascot for Trix cereal, a white rabbit perpetually scheming to obtain the colorful fruit-flavored puffs from children who invariably deny him with the tagline "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!" The character has become shorthand for futile pursuit of something tantalizingly close but always out of reach: He's like the Trix Rabbit—always chasing what he can't have.
