Tiger King
Mullet-wearing zookeeper
Tiger King is the title of a 2020 Netflix documentary series about Joe Exotic, a flamboyant Oklahoma zoo owner convicted of hiring someone to murder a rival.
The show became a cultural phenomenon during COVID-19 lockdowns, spawning memes and making its eccentric subjects briefly famous.
By extension, Tiger King references the bizarre, trashy spectacle the series captured: The whole situation was very Tiger King.
