The Wolverine
The Wolverine is a superhero film featuring the Marvel Comics character Wolverine, or the character himself when referred to with the definite article.
The 2013 film follows Logan to Japan and established a template for standalone superhero stories focused on character rather than spectacle: Have you seen The Wolverine?
The phrase also distinguishes the comic book mutant from the animal: Hugh Jackman is the Wolverine.
