TV specials
One-time televised events
TV specials are one-time television broadcasts that stand apart from regular programming—holiday specials, award shows, reunion episodes, or commemorative events.
They air outside the normal schedule, often with higher production values or cultural significance: The Charlie Brown Christmas special, a two-hour reunion special.
Networks use them to mark occasions or generate event viewing.
