TV marathons
Extended streaming sessions
TV marathons are extended viewing sessions of a single television series, typically watching multiple episodes or an entire season in one sitting.
Networks originally used the term for scheduled blocks of consecutive episodes, but streaming has made self-directed marathons the norm: We marathoned the whole series over the weekend.
Also called binge-watching.
