TIFFs
Uncompressed graphic files
TIFFs are minor quarrels or petty disagreements, usually brief and not seriously damaging to a relationship: They had a tiff about whose turn it was to cook.
The word suggests something less serious than an argument or fight—a momentary flare-up that passes quickly.
As a verb, to tiff is to have such a spat. (Uppercase TIFF is a digital image file format.)
