TB test
Skin prick screening
A TB test is a screening procedure to detect tuberculosis infection.
The most common form is the tuberculin skin test, where a small amount of protein is injected under the skin and checked days later for a reaction indicating exposure to the bacteria: Everyone at the shelter had to get a TB test.
Blood tests offer an alternative method.
