Do-re-mi film
The Sound of Music is a 1959 Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, and the beloved 1965 film adaptation starring Julie Andrews.
Set in Austria before World War II, it follows a novice nun who becomes governess to seven children and falls in love with their widowed father.
Its songs—Do-Re-Mi, My Favorite Things, Edelweiss—remain cultural touchstones.
