SMH
Texter's wordless dismay
SMH is internet shorthand for "shaking my head," used to express disapproval, disappointment, or weary disbelief: SMH, he really thought that would work.
The capitalized form adds emphasis, suggesting stronger exasperation than the lowercase version.
Sometimes playfully expanded to "smacking my head" or "so much hate," though these are minority interpretations. (Lowercase smh is equivalent but milder.)
