Rudyard
The Jungle author
Rudyard is a given name, most famously borne by Rudyard Kipling, the British author of *The Jungle Book* and "If—." The name comes from Rudyard Lake in Staffordshire, England, where Kipling's parents first met.
It remains rare, used almost exclusively in reference to or homage to the writer.
