Red Arrows
British display pilots
The Red Arrows are the Royal Air Force's aerobatic display team, officially known as the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team.
Based at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, England, the team flies distinctive red Hawk jets and performs precision formation flying at air shows and public events throughout the UK and internationally.
The team typically consists of nine pilots who execute choreographed maneuvers while trailing colored smoke.
We watched the Red Arrows perform at the Farnborough Airshow.
